Plan It Out.


We've all heard it before, "If you fail to plan, you plan to fail." These words couldn't be more true. In pure Brittany (myself) fashion, I have an amazingly bright idea, I work myself into a frenzy of excitement about it, and in doing so I give the bare minimum of thought to the newest idea of my list of to-dos.  This is exactly the case for my "weight loss journey". Now, I know that I'm serious about dropping a few pounds, however I missed a vital step on my road to success. Perpetration. Mentally, physically, and emotionally I prepared, but what's missing? A diet plan! What did I think I was going to eat? With this being my first road block, its time to make a trip to my nearest grocery store. Detox will start on January/6/13. Seriously this time.

Chapter One.


MYSELF 


  Today is the day where I start new. New dreams, hopes, chances, year, new me. No this isn't just another typical new years resolution that's made on or before the start of the upcoming year. This is a pledge that I'm making. To be the truest and most pure form of myself. Waiving all inhibitions and throwing all insecurities to the wind. Here I intend to blog my way through growth. Whether it will be in my spirituality, knowledge, wisdom, self awareness, and a host of other things, here is where I will share it with all those who are willing to read it.

This blog was inspired by an amazing friend of mine. She's one of the most confident, outspoken, intelligent, and spiritual women I have ever had the pleasure of meeting.  Among the multitude of topics we discuss, weight loss is our most recent. With this new year it is definitely about that time to start taking better care of my health. Soo...I'll be starting my own weight loss journey and yes it will be documented. My first order of business is what she calls "The Fly Five Challenge". Click HERE for her amazing blog 'Fit Black Chic' and HERE  for here challenge. JOIN NOW! A healthy life is a better life. Kicking off this challenge is a detox, getting read of all the yucky impurities that my body may be containing. I'm not to sure how long I will be sticking with the detox as of yet. Three days will be my minimum and 5-7 days might be my max. Following the detox the one month challenge will commence. How exciting! I'm more than hyped to share aspects of my life with you all.
